Dedicated to our vision, Girl Scouts Heart of Central California provides Girl Scout program at no cost to girls where volunteer leadership and family economic support are minimal or non-existent. Girls, ages 5–17, or in kindergarten to grade 12, are eligible for Girl Scout outreach programs designed to meet their needs and interests.
Outreach service locations include schools, low-income apartment complexes, migrant centers, recreation centers, shelters, juvenile hall facilities, and Boys & Girls Clubs. Outreach has connected with girls who are:
In after school programs
Hospitalized or receiving outpatient treatment
Daughters of migrant workers
Living in low-income or temporary housing
Pregnant or teen mothers
Incarcerated
