Expectations
Along with job-specific requirements, all staff members must:
- Ethusiasm and mucst be willing to participate fully in the camp experience.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all girls. Staff will focus on girls and provide patience, support, guidance, and encouragement.
- Have experience working with children and/or skills related to a specific position.
- Respect individual differences in other staff and campers.
- Be able to adjust to a 24 hour-a-day flexible schedule.
- Act as an appropriate role model for children through actions, appearance, language, professional work habits, and general conduct.
- Abide by the camp policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Team Player.
- Meet minimum age requirements and essential job functions.

Notes
Additional monetary bonuses are offered for current certification in First Aid, CPR, EMT, Wilderness First Aid, Lifeguard Training, canoeing and archery certifications. This does not apply to certifications that are paid for by Girl Scouts Heart of Central California or for certifications required for the position. International staff salaries are calculated differently, please contact the camp director for more information.
Assistant
Camp Director (Position filled)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $72-75/day
Qualifications: Administrative,
supervisory and camp experience. Knowledge of Girl Scout Program. Possess
California/equivalent Class B driver's license, or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities: Oversee development
and implementation of camp programs. Assist in training and supervision
of staff. Assist with overall camp administration. Driver for out-of-camp
trips.
Business
Manager (Position filled)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $50-53/day
Qualifications:Be organized, detail oriented and familiar with Excel. Possess California/equivalent Class B driver’s license, or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities: Maintain financial
and business records. Assists in daily operations of camp. Driver for
out-of-camp trips. Light clerical.
Program
Manager (Position filled)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $56-60/day
Qualifications: Supervisory and
camp experience required. Knowledge of Girl Scout Program. Possess California/equivalent
Class B driver's license, or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities: Manage specialty
programs and staff. Assist with camp administration.
Trip
Coordinator (Position filled)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $56-60/day
Qualifications: Experience planning
and/or leading overnight trips. Possess California/equivalent Class
B driver's license, or willingness to obtain. Previous camp experience desired.
Responsibilities:Supervises and drives for out of camp trip program. Under the direction of the Camp Director, assists with business and administrative operations of the camp.
Administrative Assistant (Position filled)
Min. Age:19
Salary: $49-52/day
Qualifications:Basic computer and clerical skills. At least 1 year of prior camp experience.
Responsibilities:Manage camp website. Light clerical. Assist Unit Leaders and Camp Director.
Health
Care Manager (Position filled)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $84-90/day
Qualifications: State license or
registered as a M.D., P.A., R.N., E.M.T., or L.V.N. Current first aid training and CPR.
Responsibilities: Works in conjunction
with local physician. Perform first aid and nursing duties. Supervises
health and safety of camp. Maintains health center.
Trip
Adventure Leader (2 Positions available)
Min. Age: 21
Salary: $49-52/day
Qualifications:Have outdoor skills and backpacking experience. Certification in Wilderness First Aid, or willingness to obtain. Valid driver’s license, Class B preferred.
Responsibilities: Manage the planning and implementation of the high adventure out-of-camp
programs.

Salary: $48-51/day
Qualifications: Experience with
children in groups. Supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver's
license.
Responsibilities: Supervises 2-4
unit staff. Teach and guide campers in program activities and group

Qualifications:Documented experoence in formal horseback riding instruction for group classes. Certification by a nationally-recognized organization or riding school is preferred. Management or supervisory experience at a horseback riding facility.
Responsibilities: Assist Horseback Riding Director with organizing and administrating all horseback riding activities and care of all the horses.

Salary: $53-55/day
Qualifications: Valid driver's license.
Carpentry, plumbing, and electrical aptitude. Willingness to take direction.
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, performs
all duties related to camp operations.
